Where do I even begin with this… there were so many things I loved about the episode, but also so many things that I heavily disliked. Overall, the episode was a masterpiece in terms of artistic qualities. The animation was on point, the use of silence to convey the aftermath of the war, seeing all of the despair around them as the night is calm and quiet, the use of lighting, from a visual standpoint, it was an amazing episode. Now onto the episode content itself. Kaneki was afraid of being shunned by his friend for his true identity and avoided him all together. Hide was aware of this all along and treated him no differently.
WHERE DO I START READING AFTER FINISHING TOKYO GHOUL ROOT A ANIME?
Tokyo Ghoul Root A-Review |
A classmate of Akira Mado at the Academy, he was partnered with Kousuke Houji and assigned to the 20th ward to investigate the Gourmet. Though a great admirer of outstanding investigators such as Koutarou Amon and Kishou Arima , he also suffers from a major inferiority complex that brought him into conflict with his peers. In Tokyo Ghoul:re , he survived as an artificial one-eyed ghoul. As a human, Takizawa had short brown hair with long parted bangs and brown eyes. Like most investigators, he wore professional attire while working and had a preference for blue clothing. After the timeskip and his reappearance as a one-eyed ghoul, his physical appearance is drastically altered. He looks more monotone and frightening.
Ghouls live among us, the same as normal people in every way—except their craving for human flesh. Ken Kaneki is an ordinary college student until a violent encounter turns him into the first half-human half-ghoul hybrid. Trapped between two worlds, he must survive Ghoul turf wars, learn more about Ghoul society and master his new powers. These volumes on average have about pages and have chapters. The difference is that it has higher quality paper, it is bigger in height and width, and has more pages.
