I had my first Austin A35 in and my wife also had one when I first met her. We bought another, 10 years after we were married, registered OBO This car was restored and had a cc engine, disc brakes and wire wheels. It was scrapped some time ago by a subsequent owner but was the reason that I bought my present A35 registered TMT in I had bought it, semi derelict, in a street in Sunbury on Thames and brought it home on a trailer, kindly lent by Neil Evans. I restored it in 12 months to exactly its original specification. Children came along and it became impossible to put all three in the back of an A35 although we did, on many occasions before they got too big this meant that TMT was relegated to the back of the garage for about 15 years.
